Are all breeds welcome?
Yes, all dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, guinea pigs are welcome!
Is my dog supervised?
Absolutely! Play time outside in the yard or in the home, I am always supervising play and/or walks.
What’s a typical day like for my dog’s sleepover?
We start with coffee (just me that is), morning relief and BREAKFAST! After about an and hour and a half, once food has settled, one of the 3 things take place; Play time in the yard making new friends, tug-o-war, sunbathing, chasing and general socializing. A trip to a dog park trip or a fun walk in the neighborhood (if waiver is signed.) A good chance of nap time occurs midday followed by more couch snuggles, potty breaks and belly rubs. Evening is all about DINNER and winding down. Comfy dogs beds and couch make for the perfect movie time together before headed off to bed.
Where does my dog go potty?
Outdoor in the yard where they are free to go wherever you have set up for your pet(s). After a dog does their business, it is immediately picked up, every time and disposed of away from the dogs.
What happens if my pet becomes sick or injured?
If not life threatening, I will contact you immediately. I will assess the situation and then contact your pet’s veterinarian (or listed emergency contact if you are out of the country etc) and decide if the pet needs to be taken to your vet or not. I will take your pet to your vet if possible, if not, your pet will need to go to one of the emergency clinics. If a waiver was not signed to authorize emergency care, a phone call will be given to you and we will go from there. Communication is key!
Will my dog be in a crate at any time during the day of daycare/boarding?
If they are crated while you are gone, that will happen. We will go over any of these questions, concerns etc at the initial meeting since each and every situation is different.
* I do have a 2 year old mixed breed named Finnegan whom would love to play and have a sleep over to! If you're interested, a meet and greet with your pet(s) will happen prior to boarding in your home. *
If you have ANY other questions, please feel free to ask! 🐾
