HARLOW & FRIENDS POLICIES



PAYMENT:
I accept Venmo, Paypal, Debit card, cash OR personal check (made out to Heather Crowe)  Payments via credit card will need to be discussed prior to booking the service dates. 

CANCELLATIONS:
24 hour notice IS REQUIRED. Any cancellations made after 5pm before the day of service if series of services are non refundable.
Please leave a voicemail, or email me prior to the day you would like to cancel service(s). 

HOLIDAY CHARGES:
New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day have a additional $15 fee added to the base price of your service(s) requested.

SAME DAY SERVICE REQUEST:

All walking, pet sitting and pet stop in's, carry a charge of $12 in addition to base charge. I will do my best to accommodate your needs and those of Harlow & Friends existing customers.

KEY COPIES: 
I require one of the following ways to access your home: 1 working key, garage code, front door and/or alarm code at the time of consultation and agreed partnership!.  The key or code(s) are for access to pick up/drop off your pets after or access to come into your home to stay there while watching your pets or walks. All keys are fit with the client and animals name and all codes are saved within your contact information. 





VACCINATIONS:
All pets must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof that their pet received DHLPP, Rabies, and Kennel Cough vaccination within the past 7 days to 11 months. Specifically the vaccines required are Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, and Bordatella. These shots are more commonly referred to as DHLPP; 5 in 1 or 6 in 1 and could include or have the kennel cough vaccine as a separate inoculation.

HEALTH:
All pets must be in good health. Owners will need to certify that their pet(s) are in good health and have not been ill in the past 30 days. On admission all pets must be free from any condition, which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Pets who have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require a veterinarian cert of health to be admitted or readmitted. Ie: kennel cough, giardia, pneumonia and any type of worms.

BEHAVIOR:
All pets must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective for boarding in my home. 


APPLICATION & FORMS:
​All pets must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file which are good for one year from the date of first service.


INCLEMENT WEATHER ~ Walks and Drop In Services 
I will communicate with you via text, call, email (however we have already established) provided during the times of snow and severe weather storms.  I will also contact you to let you know if I can safely make the trip
 the services will be shortened due to the extra length in time it takes to get to your location. I will strive to get the most of out the service provided to you and your pet(s).
